Abstract: By introducing an angle parameter，we get two new approximate formulas of energy levels in finite depth symmetric square potential well，and error analysis is carried out. The two new approximate formulas are applicable to low energy and high energy levels respectively. From the comparison with numerical results，we find that the two approximate formulas obtained in this paper have higher accuracy and better applicability.
